One of the members of the Invisible College was visiting the UNESCO Headquarter in Paris.
She is talking about her perceptions in the virtual meeting on 14th August 2016, refering to the monument in front of the building (photo Anne-Catrin Vogt).
The monument has inscriptions in different languages related to peace.
English:
The Governments of the States Parties to this Constitution on behalf of their peoples declare: That since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defences of peace must be constructed.
In our virtual meeting on 7th December Anne-Catrin Vogt gave a presentation of the book HOMO SAPIENS PACIFICUS (HSP), written by Dr. Waldo Vieira, containing:
Here you could find the recording of the presentation and our debate as well as the pdf file.
Some people of this group of volunteers had the idea to translate this book to English therefore they consider it as an important contribution to peace research and a better understanding of the multidimensional aspects and facets of peace.
